December is always a flurry of activity but ’twas a fun one nonetheless.

Here’s what kept me busy on the blog this month:

I made my last Get Messy page of the year.

I learned nine things from last month’s 30-day habit challenge.

Getting to chat with Felicitas and Heather was definitely inspiring.

I shared some of my favorite Project Life spreads from week 15 and week 16.

And what I plan to do for Project Life in 2015.

I had quite a few Friday Favorites in December (no. 048 / no. 049 / no. 050 / no. 051).

I also made a list of my favorite art journaling supplies (plus fun extras!).

In the spirit of Christmas, there were 25 things to do this Christmas.

And Christmas finally arrived!

Lastly, I shared six ways to get ready for the New Year (which is less than two days away!)

Guys, this year is ending in record time and I’m soaking it up while it lasts.

As we say goodbye to November, here’s a round up of all that happened on the blog this month.

How is it that we’re already at the end of October and less than two months until Christmas? Red Christmas cups are already out at Starbucks, which just signals how quickly this year is coming to an end. Wowza.

Despite how quickly time is flying by, here’s a look at what happened on the blog this month:

My love for Get Messy continues to run deep and this month was no exception.

What was your favorite part of the month?

Granted, September was my birthday month which made it extra fun. But it’s always nice looking back at the past month and seeing all that went down here on the blog.

At the beginning of September, I participated in a blog hop that sweet Catherine nominated me for.

I shared the remaining recipes from the 22 list, including these banana chocolate chip muffins and oven-roasted cauliflower.

And looked back on the 22 list.

Then I turned 23!

And shared my new yearly project, 23 in lists.

After weeks of contemplation, I finally joined the Get Messy art journaling gang and shared three weeks’ worth of pages. (Now my Thursdays are never the same again either.)

How was your September? I’m totally excited for the last three months of 2014 – starting with October. Let’s go.

Writing these monthly recap posts always makes me wonder where time went and realize again how quickly the rest of 2014 is flying by. And although July is generally a “slow” month around here, even this month seemed to be over in a blink of an eye.

Each month just seems to fly by. Somehow, this month especially flew by for me. It may be a combination of work + play that helped the month go by so quickly. Either way, it’s hard to believe that next month is already July and halfway through 2014!
