7 things to do when you are stuck indoors

Stuck indoors? Here are 7 productive indoor activity ideas for you to try.

With the haze besetting our skies these past few weeks and with monsoon season expected in the coming months, outdoor activities become less than desirable, or become a little more difficult to plan out.

So since there’s time to be spent indoors, I came up with a list of activities of things that I would do to keep myself occupied while I hang out and stay indoors.

  1. Do a DIY you’ve always wanted to try.

I know I have tons to do from my Pinterest boards.

  2. Work out at the gym or on your own at home with YouTube fitness videos.

The haze has really thrown a curveball in my outdoor running plans, so my solution has been YouTube fitness videos which have worked out pretty well so far (no pun intended, haha).

  3. Have a movie marathon.

Whether you prefer old classics or the latest blockbusters, pick your favorite movies and watch away!

  4. Bake / cook a new recipe.

I have lots of yummy recipes on my Pinterest boards that I need more time to try. So being indoors is a perfect excuse. This works out to be a win-win for me because I get to try a new recipe and my loved ones get something made with love to eat!

  5. Pack / revamp your space.

Switching things up allows me to breathe new life into my space while I’m stuck indoors. Decluttering when I get the chance to also helps me to be organized and makes me feel good in the end.

  6. Have a crafting/cooking/baking party.

Invite some friends over and do your favorite activity or hobby together!

  7. Read a book from your booklist.

Curling up with a good read is a great way to have productive time indoors. I’m always on the hunt for book recommendations which makes for a long list.
